2. Hosting & server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When pages are accessed, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system) in server log files to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure and stable delivery (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Vercel processes this data on my behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More: vercel.com/legal/privacy-notice. The German version of this policy is authoritative.
3. Contact
When you email me, I process your details to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR for enquiries about possible work together, otherwise lit. f). I delete them once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.
4. Cookies & local storage
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. Only technically necessary details are stored in your browser: your chosen colour theme (localStorage) and, for the current session, scroll positions and the last visited page for the back link (sessionStorage). This data never leaves your device. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.
5. Fonts, media & external links
Fonts, images and videos are served directly from this website. No external servers, such as font or video services, are contacted on page load. Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and other networks are plain links: data is only transferred once you click a link and open that site, where its own privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
